James M. Beebe
James M. Beebe is a Director and General Counsel of LB&Co. Prior to joining the firm, James was a partner at a major New York law firm practicing in Executive Compensation law. His professional experience has extended to all aspects of public and private company compensation.​
James has extensive experience in designing and implementing compensation arrangements for distressed companies, companies emerging from bankruptcy or a restructuring, private companies, and public companies across a wide range of industries, including in the energy; transportation and shipping; retail; media and entertainment; healthcare/ health and wellness; telecommunications and wireless; financial services; manufacturing; and technology, among others. James’ legal background enables him to design compensation programs that are mindful of tax and legal considerations providing for seamless implementation into operative programs. He has experience in designing programs for entities taxed as corporations or as partnerships.
James holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington, a J.D. from Seattle.
