Brian is a Director of LB&Co. Prior to joining the firm, Brian served in varying Human Resources leadership roles at Flowserve Corporation and currently holds an adjunct lecturer role with the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois, teaching a graduate course on compensation. Brian is a proven business partner, with extensive experience in Rewards & Recognition, with a focus on Sales Compensation Design and Strategy, as well providing organizational HR support and counsel at all levels. Brian has a focus on understanding the functional needs and dependencies that enable solutions to advance organizational strategies. His background includes program benchmarking, design, and implementation as well as vendor selection and management. During his career, Brian has completed expatriate assignments in Singapore and Japan. In addition, he has extensive experience in due diligence and integration planning to support successful M&A initiatives.
Brian completed his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University and a Masters of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed additional studies at the London School of Economics. Brian is an active volunteer for North Carolina for Community and Justice, serving as an advisor for “Anytown”, a summer camp for teens.
